"It's like a dating site. Except it's for cars.” That was our idea when we set out to redesign VW.com for the U.S.market. We wanted to reinvent the way people shopped for cars online via the first inventory-led automaker website matching shoppers to real cars, at real dealerships. Each car has its own profile page with images, features, specs, and a payment estimator. There are more than 80,000 unique profile pages, and more than 10 million possible configured images. The site won a Gold for Best Brand Experience at the 2014 UX Awards.
